 , making him one of the few individuals to contribute to both foundational
  documents.</p>\n<p>Before and during the Revolutionary War, Clymer was in
 volved in various business ventures and was an advocate for independence, 
 helping to secure financial support for the revolutionary cause. He later 
 served as a member of the Pennsylvania state legislature and as the Treasu
