William Henry Harrison (1773 - 1841) was the 9th President of the United States, serving in 1841 for just 31 days, making his presidency the shortest in U.S. history. He was a military officer and a politician who gained fame for his leadership in the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811, earning the nickname "Tippecanoe." Prior to his presidency, Harrison served as the governor of the Indiana Territory and later as a U.S. senator from Ohio. He died of pneumonia shortly after his inauguration, marking a brief but impactful political career.
