Description:

Calvin Coolidge was the 30th President of the United States, serving from 1923 to 1929. Born in Vermont in 1872, he was known for his quiet, reserved personality and strong belief in limited government. Coolidge became president after the sudden death of President Warren G. Harding and was later elected in his own right. His presidency, known as the "Coolidge Era," was marked by economic growth, low taxes, and reduced federal spending. He was nicknamed "Silent Cal" for his brief and direct style of communication. Coolidge chose not to run for a second full term and died in 1933.
