Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the United States, serving from 1913 to 1921. Born on December 28, 1856, in Staunton, Virginia, he was a scholar and former president of Princeton University before entering politics. Wilson led the nation through World War I, promoted the League of Nations, and enacted major domestic reforms, including the Federal Reserve Act and antitrust legislation. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1919. Woodrow Wilson died on February 3, 1924.
