Warren G. Harding |
Warren G. Harding was born on November 2, 1865, in Blooming Grove, Ohio. He worked as a newspaper publisher before entering politics and eventually became the 29th president of the United States, serving from 1921 until his death in 1923. Harding’s presidency focused on returning the country to "normalcy" after World War I, promoting business growth, and reducing government intervention in the economy. His administration, however, was later marred by corruption scandals, including the Teapot Dome scandal. Harding died suddenly of a heart attack on August 2, 1923, while on a cross-country tour.
